What We Do

The purpose of the MMA is to cooperatively proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ; to plan, prepare and execute interdenominational Christian programs and events; to raise funds for the care and assistance of persons with emergency needs; to offer care and assistance to persons with emergency needs who may not be eligible for assistance from other sources available in the community; and to provide coordination of Ministerial input into community issues and requests for Ministerial involvement.

Who We Are

The Manistique Ministerial Association (MMA) is a cooperative ministry between all the worshiping communities of Manistique. Representatives from each congregation meet at noon on the second Wednesday of every month to discuss community needs, events, and our ministerial involvement. Meetings are currently held in the Habitat for Humanity Conference Room (401 Deer St). Representatives are encouraged to bring their own lunch.

Our current president is Pastor Tommy Richter of Zion Lutheran Church.
Our primary offices are Located at the First Baptist Church, 315 walnut street. Current donations should be sent to the offices of our Treasurer, Pastor B.J. Ash at First United Methodist Church, 190 N. Cedar Street.
